Howard Smith Paper Retail rebrands as Brightstream

From Monday 2nd August, Howard Smith Paper Retail has changed its trading name to Brightstream. The name change symbolises an exciting evolution in what we do, how we do it, and where.
With 18 years of experience in paper category management amongst the UK’s largest retailers, Brightstream will increasingly apply their sales, marketing, and distribution functions to other products than just paper. Fundamental to the continual growth and success of the business has been an undying focus on operational excellence; the skills, knowledge, and experience, evident within the business today, will be used to drive growth across other products and categories in the future.
As Howard Smith Paper Retail, a strong emphasis was placed on innovation to drive sales and growth in the paper category. The same philosophy applies to Brightstream and for products outside of the paper category – using innovation to maximise retail margins. The innovation doesn’t just come from finding new and appealing products with mass appeal though. It’s imbedded in the continual focus on operational excellence, challenging the end-to-end service proposition to identify ways to deliver products into stores in as cost effective and efficient way as possible.
The change of name to Brightstream also marks the further expansion of the business into Europe. Initially focused in Central and Eastern Europe, Brightstream will look to increasingly develop new business opportunities with mass merchandisers and large retailers, in these regions.
